Retiring Accessories

It is time to say goodbye to a large number of items and they will only be available as supplies last from now until May 31st.  You can click on the picture below to see the items and to shop.

Get them before they are gone! The retired accessories and Definitely Decorative (including Décor Elements) lists are now available and won't stay around for long--these items are only available while supplies last!

When you look at the retired accessories list, you'll note that all of our Stampin' Pads are listed. This is for two reasons: (1) Craft Stampin' Pads will now only be available in black and white; and (2) we are introducing a new Firm Foam pad in our Classic Stampin' Pads with the 2012-2013 annual catalog.

In addition:
  • Only select Stampin' Write Markers will be available individually (Stampin' Write Markers in color collections will continue to be offered)

  • 12" x 12" Smooth Card Stock will only be available in select individual colors and color collections

    Pinterest challenge

At Late Night Stampers this week, we are supposed to CASE a card we have seen on Pinterest.  The card below is the one I cased and I think I should have left it the same colors instead of trying to change it a little!

I used French Foliage and Loving Thoughts for my stamp sets and changed the colors a little bit to Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze and Pear Pizzazz.

    Happiness

I broke out the Take a Seat stamp set for this card along with Pursuit of Happiness for my sentiment.  There is some retired designer series paper and also some Beau Chateau designer series paper in the mix and I used some faux mother of pearl on Very Vanilla card stock as well.

The ink is Early Espresso and the card stocks are Very Vanilla, Pretty in Pink, Crumb Cake and Marina Mist.

I added a few little embellishments - subtles buttons, vintage trinkets and Victoria Crochet trim ribbon.  The little flower on the bench is made from the Boho Blossoms punch and the itty bitty shapes punch.

It is a little early for Father's Day, but I thought I would share this card I made for a customer of mine.  I used the Tool Shed background stamp and added some cork and vintage trinkets between that image and the sentiment.

    Vintage Thanks

Today I have another sample using our sketch for Late Night Stampers using the same colors and designer paper as the last sample.

For this card, I flipped the sketch and used pleated ribbon instead of a border punch and embossed my background with the Vintage Wallpaper impressions folder.

I had a couple of the flower accents left and added them to the squares on the side and I modified the modern label punch a little bit for the sentiment.

    Happy Easter!

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter and have the chance to spend time with your families.

One of the recipes I have "pinned" on Pinterest lately was for Jello cookies and I thought I would try them with our Sweet Pressed Cookie stamps.  I left out the baking powder and stamped them like I would with the recipe that comes with the stamps.

They turned out great and look fun, but for me they don't taste as good as the one that comes with the stamps and my kids agree.

    Bright Blossoms

On this card, I tried out the preview stamp set called Bright Blossoms and paired it with the Summer Smooches designer series paper.

On the Whisper White layer, I used the Simply Scored Tool and the Diagonal Plate to make some diagonal score lines.

    Card stock and ink colors:

    Fancy Fabric Flowers Take Two

This is another version of the card I shared with you yesterday using the Fancy Flower punch with fabric behind it.  The fabric today is from the Twitterpatted collection available in the Occasions Mini catalog.

I again popped up the embossed layer and added a brad to the middle of the flower, this time an antique brad.  The sentiment is from the retired stamp set Because I Care and the ribbon is some Old Olive taffeta ribbon.

    Fabric Fancy Flowers Take One

I have shown you a similar card before using the Blossom Punch and Flirtatious Fabric, but on this one I used the Fancy Flower punch and the new Summer Smooches fabric.

There is also a summer smooches fabric brad in the middle and I popped up the Daffodil Delight Layer with dimensionals.

The sentiment is from With all my heart and I added some 1/8" taffeta ribbon behind it as well.

    Dots and Doilies

This is the third project I can share with you that I created for UStamp with Dawn and Friends Cool Moves 2012.  The top card is a flag card with some fun pop up flags in the middle of it.

Come over and join us  - there are over 40 projects with full PDF tutorials!  Click on the picture below to get started.

    Double Pocket

Patti Bennett posted a fun and easy double pocket card video on her blog a few days ago and this is my twist on it.  I used the Sweet Shop specialty paper as my base and the Bring on the Cake and Every Little  Bit stamp sets.

The tag on the inside is made from the Two Tags die.

I used a large paper clip in my front pocket instead of the other tag from the die.
