Delicate Doilies Birthday two ways

I decided it had been awhile since I pulled out my Delicate Doilies stamp set and came up with these two versions of the same basic card.

On the top I used some Festival of Prints dsp stack paper and some pearls to accent.

On this card, I added some retired ribbon along with some Victoria crochet trim and pearls.  I also punched one edge and pierced a border that I outlined with a marker.

While neither one is what I had in my head when I started, I think they both
 turned out ok.

Stamp Camp projects

We had a great time on Saturday during our Stamp Camp!  The first project was inspired by Erica Cerwin, I designed this little package after a project I saw on her blog recently.

My bow didn't want to behave for the picture, sorry!

We added some little treats to a cello bag to put on the inside.

Lisa designed this fun card using vellum, the Evergreen stamp set and some Candlelight Christmas specialty paper.

She made some great tags that we used for thank yous as well, there were two others that I didn't get a picture of before we left.

And finally, we made this card using the Snowflake Soiree and Sassy Salutations stamp sets.

Boy Birthday

Some more cards using leftover pieces...I had printed some of this designer series paper from My Digital Studio (called On the Go) and had leftovers from another project.  I decided it was time to use the rest so I put together some boy cards with it.

The sentiment is from the Full of Life stamp set and I have also used some 3" circles, apothecary accents, the Chevron, Stripes and Perfect Polka Dots folders.

Island Indigo was used for the ink color and the card stock choices were Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Island Indigo and Soft Suede.

Now to pick the little boys to give the card to! :)

Don't for get about the Online Extravaganza!  Just a few more days of 20 to 50% lots and lots of great products.

Boxes and Boxes of Goodies

The new session is open and I can share one of my projects with you!  Dawn is also using this session as a fundraiser for Sandy victims - she is using $10 of each event fee toward purchasing blankets for those who have lost so much.  Isn't she awesome!

I just love the fun Christmas designer series paper options we have this year and had to showcase one in this project.

Candlelight Christmas Ornament

This is my second attempt at an ornament (still haven't tried stamping first and then using the framelits - but I will!).  I used the Candlelight Christmas specialty paper along with some Very Vanilla and Champagne Glimmer paper.

The middle has the largest of the delicate doilies and I used Crumb Cake tulle along with Victoria crochet trim.

The button is a retired one...

I hope you all have a wonderful day with friends and family and safe travels as well - Happy Thanksgiving!

This card is one without a sentiment that I used with more scraps (I never seem to run out of them!).  Again, the music stamp is from Nature's Pace and I added some texture with the Perfect Polka Dots and Fancy Fan folders.

Notes and Elements

Today's card is a simple one, but I used three different stamp sets to complete it - Elements of Style, Nature's Pace and Loving Thoughts.

I love the way it turned out - the music stamp is a little too long to fit when placed this direction so I cut it off where the right side meets the edge of the Cherry Cobbler layer.

Supplies:
Elements of Style
Loving Thoughts
Nature's Pace
Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso classic ink
Early Espresso, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler card stock

Framelit Ornament

This is my first attempt at making an ornament with the Holiday Ornaments framelits.  I did not stamp the ornaments, just die cut them for this one.  The Wisteria Wonder ornaments have been embossed with the Lacy Brocade folder.

I used some 1/4" stitched ribbon and Crumb Cake tulle along with some Champagne glimmer paper and basic rhinestones for decorating it.

The entire ornament was spritzed with vanilla shimmer when I was done, which you can't really see from the picture.

Hand Knit

I had to share a project that I completed a little while ago.  Being fairly new to knitting these fingerless mittens had me pretty nervous, but I actually made 2 pairs!  While they are not made from Stampin' Up! yarn (since we don't have any, lol!), I did use linen thread and some of our buttons to complete them.

I love the little Hand Knit stamp set for things like this because it is fun to put a little tag on them when you give them away for a gift.

Hybrid Winter Wishes

This is a hybrid card that I made using My Digital Studio.  The designer series paper was printed on card stock and is from the Frosty Day II collection.  I love the little mittens and the colors in the striped pattern.

The rest of the card consists of Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Early Espresso card stock; Early Espresso, Certainly Celery and Pink Pirouette ink and markers and some white baker's twine.

I used the Bootiful Occasions stamp set for my image.

Designer Fabric Bags

I am always pinning sewing projects that look like they would work well with Stampin' Up!'s designer fabric, but I don't sew.  So they sit there.  My mom was nice enough to make a few of these bags for me (she said they were pretty easy, but I haven't tried them!) and I thought they fit the Late Night Stampers giftables challenge this week.

The pattern for the bags can be found here.  They are the perfect size for our catalog so I thought they would make great hostess gifts as well as Christmas gifts.

Now to find the time and patience to learn how to make them myself...

Nothing is Worth More

I am teaching a class next weekend at the PRBC Stamping and Scrapbooking retreat and this is one of the samples I have for them.

For this one, I used the Autumn Accents die and embossed the leaves with the Woodgrain and Perfect Polka Dots folders.  There is a little piece of Naturals Composition specialty paper behind the picture and the sentiment is from Summer Afternoon.

The buttons and ribbon are from the clearance rack and my card stock colors are Island Indigo, More Mustard, Soft Suede, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake.

Dots and Notes

This card features the same musical notes that I used in the card in this post, from Nature's Pace.  The background is also the same - Marina Mist card stock stamped with Distressed Dots and Marina Mist classic ink.

I added some Naturals composition specialty paper, scallop dots ribbon and a sentiment from Loving Thoughts.
