Never Too Much Happy

Today, I needed a card for a couple celebrating their 43rd anniversary and that couple happens to be my parents.  Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!!

I chose to use some Flowerpot designer series paper as my background and added some basic rhinestones to each of the polka dots.  Then, I used some Crushed Curry chevron ribbon and Watercolor wonder washi tape for a couple more accents.

The sentiment is stamped on an Apothecary accent die cut.

Supplies:
Yippee Skippee, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Whisper White card stock
Basic gray ink
Flowerpot dsp
Apothecary accents framelits
basic rhinestones
Crushed Curry chevron ribbon

Sentiment Free Cards

Sometimes it is nice to have some cards on hand without a specific sentiment on them so you can use them for any purpose.  I made a few of this type of card with the Kinda Eclectic stamp set a few days ago.

The cards are also one layer with the exception of the butterflies that are popped up.

Supplies:
Kinda Eclectic
Crushed Curry, Real Red, Garden Green, Blackberry Bliss ink
Whisper White card stock
Bitty butterfly punch

Lots of Thanks

This card uses two of the new embossing folders in the 2014-2015 catalog - Arrows and Fun Frames.  Of course, the fun frames folder doesn't emboss and cut so if you want to have the piece cut out like the card below, you will need your paper snips (I know, I know, no one likes to cut out pieces!).

The sentiment comes from the cute little set called Hip Notes and I punched it out with the new 2" circle punch.

A little bit of 5/8" natural chevron ribbon and a cute little clip from the June Paper pumpkin kit and that is it!

Supplies:
Hip Notes
Pear Pizzazz, Baked Brown Sugar, Whisper White card stock
Pear Pizzazz ink
2" circle punch
Fun Frames folder
Arrows Folder
5/8" natural chevron ribbon
Paper Pumpkin accessories

Your Awesomeness

I was playing around with the Flower Patch stamp set and Flower Fair framelits again on this card - love the sentiment!

There is some Maritime designer series paper behind the flowers and I stamped the open flower image on Crisp Cantaloupe for the background.

I thought the flowers needed a little something in the middle so I added some basic rhinestones and popped them up with stampin' dimensionals.

Supplies:
Flower Patch
Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party ink
Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White, card stock
Maritime dsp
basic rhinestones

Moving the Deco Label

You have seen this post once, but I will share it again in the right timeframe for the challenge :)  (I had two challenges reversed and posted the wrong one first last time!)

The Late Night Stamper's Challenge right now is movement cards.  Chose to make a deco label move from the outside to the inside when it is opened.

On the front of the card base, I cut half a deco framelit and then used my bone folder to fold the cut half open.  Then I added the same size deco framelit over the top of the cut half (you would just put adhesive on one side right now).

On the inside there are some panels and I attached the other half of the full size deco label to the panel so it looks like this when you open it.

I chose the Flashback designer series paper to decorate the panels and the front and used the Bloom with Hope stamp set on the Deco label and the sentiment.

Supplies:
Bloom with Hope
Kraft card stock
Pool Party, Very vanilla card stock
Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizzazz and Memento Black inks
Deco label framelits
Flashback dsp
Brights buttons
sticky strip

Anniversary Cards

Today I have a couple different anniversary cards to share with you.  The first one uses some Silver Fancy Foil Vellum, a tag leftover from a Paper Pumpkin kit and an image from Draw the Line.

I added some small hearts to each card and both sentiments are from teeny tiny wishes.

Next, I used the negative of a labels collection framelit in silver glimmer as my starting point.  I added some Silver Fancy Foil vellum behind it and added it to a piece of Lost Lagoon card stock.

Supplies:
Teeny Tiny Wishes, Draw the line
Whisper White, Lost Lagoon, Smoky Slate, Raspberry Ripple card stock
Smoky Slate, Craft white ink
small heart punch
modern label punch
Silver Glimmer paper
Silver Fancy foil vellum
1/8" silver ribbon
Labels collection framelits

Happy Day!

On the card I am sharing today, I have layered two different sizes of Deco Label framelits that are both cut from So Saffron card stock.  The top layer is popped up with stampin' dimensionals and I added some dots from the Endless birthday wishes stamp set on both layers.

I thought it looked a little too plain so I added some basic rhinestones as well...

Supplies:
Endless birthday wishes
Baked Brown Sugar, So Saffron, Whisper White card stock
Coastal Cabana, Soft Suede, Baked Brown Sugar ink
Deco labels framelits
basic rhinestones
retro fresh washi tape

This card uses some pieces from the Happiness Is Project Life Collection as well as the Big News stamp set.  As you can see, very quick to throw together and it still looks fun.

I added a neutrals button with some linen thread as an accent and done!

I am still trying to keep up with posts for you everyday...we will see!  Hopefully I can catch up and get ahead of myself (in preparation for the harvest coming up before I know it) so I can breathe again!

Blooming Birthday

Sometimes what I think a card will look like before I begin and what it actually ends up like are pretty far off.  This card is one of those and I actually don't like it at all, but thought I would share it anyway so you see that they all don't turn out quite like you planned!

I think the biggest mistake is the color combination - I used Pistachio Pudding, Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist and I just don't like it.

I cut the front of the card about 1/4" short and added a little piece of Kraft card stock to the inside for a little different look.

Supplies:
Flower Patch
Pistachio Pudding, Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist ink
Whisper White, Kraft card stock
basic rhinestones

Grunged Thinking of You

I have had very little time to create anything lately so I am trying to keep the posts coming, but if I miss a day or two here or there I will be back!  Baseball officially ended last Sunday so I should have a little more time (maybe!)...

This card was a super quick one to put together with scraps of Confetti Celebration and Smoky Slate card stock.  I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in the background and punched out my sentiment with the 2" circle punch.

Supplies:
Gorgeous Grunge, Sassy Salutations
Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate card stock
