Look Who's Turning...

Last week one of our nieces turned 2 and even though she probably won't care much about the card, I wanted to make a fun one for her.  I found out later that she received some balloons at breakfast that day and didn't want to let go of them...so maybe the balloon idea on the card went over ok with her too :)

I used the Circle Card Thinlit die to start with and cut my base out of Whisper White.

There is a lot of stamping all around the card and I added some Pool Party glitter ribbon to the outside edge.

I decided to add another layer to the back of the card and used some Pink Pirouette card stock.  In order for the circle cut out part of the card to still move, I needed to trim a little of the card stock on the back after I attached it.

On the inside, I added some more stamping, a banner and the die cut 2.

Some more die cuts...

A couple more views...

Next, I added some Color Me Irresistible Specialty paper, essentials wooden elements and the picture.

Time for Tea

In the past I have shared projects created with the little wooden box that we get each year with cheese inside from a potato customer in Wisconsin.  I have made a little card box and created cards that fit perfectly inside and also a little box for my daughter to keep her small scrapbooking supplies in.

This time around I chose the stamp set a Nice Cuppa and paired it with the rest of the bundle that you can find here.

I first die cut quite a few pieces from the Cups and Kettles dies and then I added a few embellishments or stamped images to them.

Then, I added my matted designer series paper to the sides and top of the box.

After adding the elements to the designer series paper, I took some cotton paper and used it like tissue paper on the inside before adding a few bags of tea.

It will come I handy for a door prize at a future Stamp A Stack!

You are Sweet

This is another door prize selection from my last stamp a stack.  I found these little bottles one day at Target and actually use a few in my kitchen for spices, but I kept a few to alter.

The jar is filled with Hershey kisses and I chose the Honeycomb Happiness (SAB 2016) stamp set to decorate with.

After adding some Tear and Tape adhesive to the outside rim of the lid, I added some Bermuda Bay sequin trim and took off a few pieces of the sequins to decorate around the ice cream cone as well.

There is some cotton ribbon around the jar behind the scallop circle and ice cream cone and the cone itself is covered with glitter from the Wink of Stella glitter brush.

Supplies:
Honeycomb Happiness (SAB 2016)
Soft Suede, Pink Pirouette, Delightful Dijon ink
Whisper White, Soft Suede, Watermelon Wonder card stock
designer buttons
Artisan Label punch
1 3/4" scallop circle punch
Bermuda Bay sequin trim
cotton ribbon

Fear Not

I showed you a birthday card that I made with the Rose Garden thinlits and Rose Wonder stamp set last week and today I have a sympathy card using the same elements.  The sentiments in the stamp set make it quite versatile.

This time I did not use the glitter brush on the rose, I left it as is after I attached the die cut to the Pink Pirouette card stock and cut it out.

Supplies:
Rose Wonder
Pool Party, Early Espresso ink
Pool Party, Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla card stock
Rose Garden thinlits

Hello Little Sunshine

Today I have used a couple of the Limited Time Only Sale-a-bration FREE items on my card.  Both the Perfectly Artistic designer series paper and Hello stamp set are only available until February 15th (along with the Sky is the Limit stamp set).

I used the Sunburst thinlit to cut out the Perfectly Artistic designer series paper and then matted it on Basic Black card stock.  Then, I punched a 2" circle out of Crushed Curry and inked the edges with my stamp pad.

There are some white perfect accents around the circle as well.

Supplies:
Hello (SAB 2016)
Basic Black, Crushed Curry ink
Whisper White, Basic Black, Crushed Curry card stock
Perfectly Artistic dsp (SAB 2016)
white perfect accents
Sunburst Thinlit

Love You Sew

There is one hostess exclusive stamp set in the back of the Occasions catalog and it is definitely made for crafters.  I have two quite simple cards to share with you that I made from it.

The first uses a strip of Love Blossoms designer series paper  as an accent as well as a designer series button.  I cut out the thread and added it to next to the sentiment with a Stampin' dimensional.

The second uses a piece cut with the Tags and Labels framelits for the sentiment, some corrugated paper and an antique brad - I thought I should use a hole punch when I was talking about one!

Supplies:
Love you Sew
Cherry Cobbler, Basic Gray, Rose Red, Crumb Cake ink
Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White card stock
Corrugated paper
Love Blossoms dsp
Tags and Labels framelits
antique brads
designer series buttons

Hello My Friend

I used this little note card holder as a door prize for my last Stamp A Stack, it is big enough to hold more than 8 note cards and envelopes...

I used the Wildflower Fields designer series paper and Hello stamp set which are both Sale-a-bration FREE items along with some Cherry Cobbler, Lost Lagoon and Pink Pirouette card stock.

To close the little folder, I added two antique brads and some bakers twine, tying the twine around one brad and wrapping it around the other.

My note cards were 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and I stamped the images below using the Number of Years stamp set.

Supplies:
Number of Years, Hello (SAB 2016)
Pink Pirouette, Pear Pizzazz, Lost Lagoon, Cherry Cobbler ink
Pink Pirouette, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Lost Lagoon card stock
Wildflower Fields dsp (SAB 2016)

Cherry Cobbler baker's twine
Tea Lace paper doilies

Rose Birthday

This is the card we gave my mother-in-law last weekend on her birthday.  I used the Rose Wonder stamp set which coordinates with the Rose Garden thinlit dies to create it.

I glued the rose die to a piece of Pink Pirouette card stock and then cut around it before using my Wink of Stella glitter brush on the whole thing.

I added a couple pieces of ribbon, a retired artisan embellishment and some It's my party dots to finish off the card.

Supplies:
Rose Wonder
Watermelon Wonder, Pool Party ink
Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi, Watermelon Wonder card stock
Rose garden thinlits
Pool Party glitter ribbon
It's my party dots
Artisan embellishment
crochet trim
Wink of Stella glitter brush
